My name is Michael, a mining engineer with a passion for electronics engineering. This website aims to inspire creative problem solving from an electronics engineering perspective, focusing on embedded systems. Dealing with real-world scenarios is a test for innovation and sustainable practices, i.e., a fine balance between the following elements: safety, the environment, society, and the economy, as shown in Figure 1.

Figure 1: Sustainability

If one of these elements is neglected, then the framework of a system can easily become compromised. Theory and laboratory exercises, presented on this website, are the foundation for key design features of projects. It is advisable to spend some time on theory, more time on laboratories, and most time on projects to achieve high standards in both learning and real-world problem-solving. Creativity does not require one to be a genius, but it does require one to have a healthy relationship with failure.
